S8A – step by step project

We now own an S8A in addition to our GTO. The longlist of to-do points is huge! Over the next months we will add the full story here about perfectioning the car.   • Engine mounts replaced
  • All possible engine bay mounting screws replace by stainless steel
  • All hose clamps replaced by stainless steel
  • Fresh bonnet mounting tape mounted
  • Upholstery made
  • Nose cone and bonnet resprayed for perfection reasons
  • License plate fixation made with carbon backplate
  • Reservoir screen wash refurbished
  • Exhaust cover repaired
  • Exhaust polished
  • 3M foil body protection mounted
  • Tonneau cover restored

  • All engine bay rubbers replaced
  • Spark plugs replaced
  • Spark plug cords replaced
  • Engine oil & filter replaced
  • Clutch cable replaced
  • Timing belt replaced
  • Coolant pump replaced
  • Rims polished
  • 1 rim sprayed
  • Blind spare wheel fixation nut manufactured from aluminium
  • New rim long sleeved mounting bolts ordered in USA
  • Interior removed for new upholstery
  • Rear wheel mounted
  • Loads and loads of parts ordered

03 until 11-06-2018

  • Engine bay cleaned partly
  • New Toyo T1-R tires mounted
  • Bonnet restyled
  • Purchased cold enamel to restore nose cone logo

We have started cleaning, claying and polishing the full car.
