Donkervoort Automobielen GmbH expands in Düsseldorf
Donkervoort continues to grow in Germany. In early 2017 Donkervoort Automobielen GmbH will open a showroom and workshop all its own in the attractive Classic Remise Düsseldorf, located in a beautifully restored historic railway roundhouse. With this development Donkervoort hopes to further expand its presence in the German market, offering Donkervoort customers and other interested parties even better support for sales, aftersales and maintenance.
Success in Düsseldorf leads to restructuring Donkervoort Germany
Since the autumn 2015 opening of the showroom shared with COMCO Leasing, a well-known German leasing company for classic and exclusive vehicles, the expansion to Classic Remise Düsseldorf has proven to be a resounding success. For sales, service and maintenance many existing Donkervoort drivers and interested parties turned out to have a strong preference for the central, easily accessible location in Düsseldorf over the more event-oriented location at the Bilster Berg Drive Resort.
This development led to Donkervoort’s decision to restructure its two locations in Germany, which includes shifting the core sales, service and maintenance activities to the new location in Düsseldorf, making this the new headquarters in Germany. The cooperation with the Bilster Berg Drive Resort will continue, but will concentrate exclusively on customer events and test and development work.
Donkervoort exclusive showroom and workshop
The new Donkervoort location in the Classic Remise will offer a full-service concept – both for sales and aftersales. This location will become a smaller version of the factory in Lelystad and will be an important sales point for Germany and neighbouring countries. The modest showroom will feature both the latest and a selection of pre-owned Donkervoort cars, complemented by a well-stocked accessory and merchandising area. Donkervoort drivers can also visit the spacious, industrial workshop for maintenance, service and repair of their cars. Ultimately the final assembly of new Donkervoort cars destined for the German market will also take place here.

The good click with the organisation behind the Classic Remise, the recent vacancy of a unique and perfectly sized space and the many words of encouragement from Donkervoort owners and interested parties regarding our presence at this fantastic location. Techno Classica Essen
The kick-off of the collaboration with Classic Remise Düsseldorf will take place during the renowned Techno Classica in Essen from 6 to 10 April 2016. In addition to a unique D8 GTO Bare Naked Carbon Edition, the classic, fully restored Dutch registration Donkervoort S7 with chassis number JD002 will be on display for the first time ever!
